The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt developer CD Projekt Red confirms that it's going to make a few tweaks and changes to the dialog and the progression of the romance sequence between protagonist Geralt and Triss, based on the feedback it's received from fans of the RPG.

The Witcher 3 rolled out on May 19 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms. Since then, millions of RPG fans have gone through the experience once, twice, or even more times, in order to explore the different choices, endings and, of course, romance options.

However, while most fans have been pretty pleased with the way developer CD Projekt Red treated the two main romance options, as Geralt can choose Yennefer or Triss during his adventures, some aren't that happy with the way the Triss route performs, when compared to the main Yennefer one.

Changes are coming to the Triss romance soon enough

CD Projekt Red is aware of this feedback and confirms on the official forums that it's working hard to make some tweaks and additions to the Triss romance option.

Before fans get too excited, Community Manager Marcin Momot emphasizes that they shouldn't expect all-new cut scenes or sequences with the two characters. Instead, the studio is going to flesh out a few things through conversations.

"We will be addressing this situation by adding/changing some dialogue stuff in the future - more info on this will come later so pardon my scarce input for the time being. This should help with the immersion. And once again, thank you all for your valuable feedback. I wouldn’t go as far as calling it new content. We will be implementing small additions and tweaks in character dialogues that should please many folks," he explains.

It's going to be interesting to see just how CD Projekt Red is going to modify the Triss romance. You can be sure that the improvements will appear as part of a free update, as the studio has made it clear that it only wants to charge for the two major expansions that have already been confirmed for The Witcher 3.
