The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt developer CD Projekt Red confirms that work on the large update 1.07 for the sprawling role-playing game is still ongoing, but it does hint at some changes relating to inventory and storage space that should please a lot of people.

The Witcher 3 launched back on May 19 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms around the world. The long-awaited RPG immediately delighted millions of fans with its top-notch mechanics, its intense story, and the pretty great gameplay systems implemented by CD Projekt Red.

However, the game was also affected by several problems, glitches, and issues, so the Polish studio worked hard and has already released several big updates across PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms.

Patch 1.07 for PC and 1.06 for consoles is a big one

Now, CD Projekt Red Community Manager Marcin Momot confirms a few new details about the next set of updates for The Witcher 3, which should take the game up to version 1.07 on PC and 1.06 on the PS4 and Xbox One platforms.

As stated previously, the new patch is a big one, and Momot explains on the forums that the whole studio is still working on it. There hasn't been any hold-up but he can't share any details just yet, as things need to be tested internally to ensure that they don't affect the game in a negative manner.

He also confirms in a thread about possible changes to the inventory and storage system that, while he can't go into details, there is "something" in the works that "should please a lot of people."

While The Witcher 3 certainly feels and plays quite well, the inventory has been criticized by lots of players, as well as a lack of a static storage chest where people can put the items they no longer need.

You can expect to see a full changelog for the next The Witcher 3 patch in the very near future.
