The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has just received a changelog for patch 1.05 on the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. The big update brings a variety of improvements to the game, while also eliminating glitches and issues. It should be available for download soon, according to the developer.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt launched back in May, and since then CD Projekt Red has released a wide variety of updates and new content for the sprawling role-playing experience.

The title has already received several big patches, and the next one is set to appear for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the RPG soon, in the form of update 1.05. Some of its improvements already appeared on PC last week, in the form of update 1.06.

Patch 1.05 on consoles has a changelog

A full changelog for the patch is available below, via the official forums. All sorts of different bug fixes and improvements are listed, including solutions to rather pesky issues that reset players' gold if it reached 65535, caused the clothes of protagonist Geralt to get wet when leaving the menu, or prevented players from opening a gate in the crypt associated with the Scavenger Hunt: Viper School Gear quest.

A few other bugs that caused an endless loading screen when fighting the ice giant in the Lord of Undvik quest, didn't trigger the mutagen bonuses, or prevented interaction with an NPC during the Get Junior mission are also remedied by the new patch.

Last but not least, the game's general stability and its user interface have also been improved.

The new patch 1.06 for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was set to appear last week, but at least for now, it's still unavailable. According to the latest estimate, "the console patch is on its way and it shouldn't be long before it goes live."

Another big update is coming

Shortly after 1.05 launches on PS4 and Xbox One, another big update, presumably taking the RPG to version 1.06 on the two consoles and 1.07 on the PC, is going to appear. No word on what it might include, so expect to see more in the very near future.

Until then, check out the changelog for patch 1.05 below.
