A workaround for a known bug has been implemented too

Tweetium developers deployed a major update for their Windows Phone application about three weeks ago, but it appears that the update broke some things.

This is probably the reason Tweetium received three more updates meant to address some of the issues reported by Windows Phone users. The newest update also brings the most changes, though no new features are included.

According to the official changelog, the latest update should fix some issues with inserting new lines via menu or “Enter is new line” option (especially on phone).

Also, the update is said to fix a bug where profiles would show an “unmute” button after unmuting them. Apparently, the unmute operating works, but returning to the same profile would show the wrong state for some time afterwards.

Developers also confirmed they have addressed an issue where clicking/tapping the user who RT'd something would sometimes take them to the wrong profile.

Some fixes for Windows 10 Mobile have been added too

The update also contains a workaround for occasional startups or account switch crashes on Windows 10 due to a bug in store/licensing APIs.

The latest version of Tweetium can be used in trial mode on Windows 10 now that the relevant Store bug is fixed for the most part. Last but not least, developers confirmed that they have fixed a couple of rare crashes.

You can now download Tweetium for Windows Phone for $2.99 via Windows Phone Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8.1 and up.

Keep in mind that the base app price will provide you with the fully featured standard Universal App with support for using one Twitter account at a time on any Windows device.

However, you can also purchase Tweetium Pro from within the app, which enables support for up to 7 accounts, push notifications, an enhanced Connect tab, TweetMarker sync, and integrated news.
