Sony has been pretty vocal when denying all rumors suggesting that the Japanese company might plan to sell its mobile division or merge with another major player in the market.

Now the company plans even more smartphones for H2 2015. Despite the fact that it previously announced it would only launch one flagship handset per year, Sony is now said to have not one but two high-end smartphones in the pipeline.

We reported to you yesterday that two new unannounced smartphones codenamed Sony Xperia S60 and Xperia S70 were rumored for unveiling in mid-August.

These devices belong to the high-end range and might be Sony's flagship smartphones for the second part of the year.

Since the Xperia S60 and Xperia S70 are codenames, these devices might be officially unveiled as Xperia Z5 and possibly Xperia Z5 Compact. Unfortunately, the only thing we know about them is that they will come with 32GB of internal storage.

Sony continues to use Snapdragon 810 chipset inside its high-end phones

Today, XperiaBlog reports two smartphones have been recently spotted in Sony's UAProf and everything indicates that these are part of the company's upcoming lineup of Android smartphones to be unveiled by the end of the year.

They are codenamed E6603 and E5803, and the listing in the UAProf mentions the former sports a full HD (1080p) display, while the latter will come with an HD (720p) screen.

For those out of the loop, the E6603 model is thought to be the unannounced Sony Xperia Z5, whereas the other leaked handset, E5803, is likely to be the Xperia Z5 Compact.

The same UAProf listing also reveals that both Sony smartphones will be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 chipset.

Last but not least, both Xperia smartphones will ship with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box, which makes sense since Android M won't be launched until October.
