It looks like the Xperia M5 Dual is not the only Android smartphone Sony launched in India this month. The Xperia C5 Ultra Dual mid-range handset made its debut in the country as well.

Potential customers can now purchase the Xperia C5 Ultra Dual via Sony's official website. The smartphone is priced at Rs 29,990 ($450 / €400) and is available in three color options: Black, White and Glossy Soft Mint.

The single SIM version of the smartphone is not available in India and will probably never make it to this country. The Xperia C5 Ultra has been launched this week in other Asian countries as well, including Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.

Unfortunately, the Indian version of the Xperia C5 Ultra is the most expensive, even though not by that much ($25-$30).

Moving on to specs, Sony Xperia C5 Ultra is one of the largest smartphones launched by the Japanese company. The handset boasts a huge 6-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features scratch-resistant glass.

It comes with both 4G LTE and dual-SIM support

The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor, which is complemented by a Mali-T760MP2 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

Although the Xperia C5 Ultra comes with 16GB of storage inside, users can further expand internal memory up to 200GB via microSD card.

On the back, the device packs a 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front there's a no-less-impressive 13-megapixel camera for great selfies.

Sony Xperia C6 Ultra ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right out of the box and is powered by a non-removable 2,930 mAh battery, which is rated for up to 600 hours of standby time or up to 14 hours of talk time.
