Snapdeal is the biggest retail store in India, and it looks like it's pulling all stops on Ubuntu products. It now features a customized page that lists a host of Ubuntu-powered products, including laptops.

The Ubuntu phones from Bq, the Aquaris e4.5 and Aquaris E5 HD were recently released in India, exclusively through Snapdeal, and that was a really big deal. For the Ubuntu Touch to penetrate a huge market like that one it took a lot of effort, but it looks like it went a lot better than expected.

Now, Snapdeal is offering a lot more Ubuntu-powered products, including a host of Dell and HP laptops. This is more than just a simple phone launch, and it's actually an amazing opportunity for Canonical. Many of the products featured on Snapdeal come with huge discounts, which are not likely to last for much longer.

Ubuntu for phones has managed to keep itself in the news with all sorts of launches and announcements. The phones from Bq also landed in the US, with limited broadband capabilities, and the same Spanish company plans to release a more powerful device that will be able to double up as a desktop.

It's also worth pointing out that Ubuntu Touch has also recently received a hefty update and that a new one is already in the works. For more details about the products available on Snapdeal, make sure that you check the official website.
