Immediately after releasing the eighth Beta build of the upcoming Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan computer operating system to developers enrolled in the Apple Developer Program, the Cupertino company pushed the sixth Public Beta build of El Capitan to users worldwide.

OS X 10.11 El Capitan Public Beta 6 software update is available right now in the Mac App Store for existing users (see the update instructions below) and it is recommended for everyone. As usual, it brings all sorts of security patches and various under-the-hood improvements with the ultimate goal of making OS X El Capitan a stable, reliable, and secure operating system for your Mac.

We kindly remind you that this is still a pre-release version that contains unresolved issues that might damage your Mac or not offer you a full user experience. Public Beta builds are targeted towards those who are brave enough to jump ship from the stable version of the OS X operating system, 10.10 Yosemite, which we recommend to all Mac users.

Here's how to install or update to OS X 10.11 El Capitan Public Beta 6
