If you have been thinking of purchasing a Samsung Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 edge and you wouldn’t mind doing business with T-Mobile, then the time to make the acquisition is just right.

As you might as well know, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge don't come with a microSD card slot, so it’s impossible for users to expand the onboard storage unless they heavily rely on storage services. Samsung is offering the phones with different storage capacities including 32GB, 64GB or 128GB, but going for the loftiest variant will cost you an extra amount of cash.

However, for the upcoming period, T-Mobile is offering a promotion to those who are looking to purchase one of the two flagships. The carrier will be shipping out models with 64GB of internal storage for the price of 32GB units. So if you were looking for a more spacious Galaxy S6, now it’s the right time to acquire one.

T-Mobile offers a promotion on the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge

This translates into a saving of $80 / €71, which might not be a huge sum but it’s still something. The same treatment applies to the 128GB model, which can be purchased for the price of the 64GB model, meaning a $100 / €88 discount.

T-Mobile’s promotion is due to kick-start tomorrow and will only last a few days throughout June 27, so you’d better act fast if you want to save a buck or two.

The two flagships might ship out with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, but as we told you yesterday, the good news is that the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update has started rolling out to users in select territories across the world.

The new software will bestow a bunch of changes on your devices. For example, the notification share area doesn’t house the Quick Connect and S Finder buttons anymore, giving things a more airy perspective.

On top of that, users will now be able to arrange the apps in the app drawer alphabetically and take advantage of RAW support and lower ISO values.

Carrier models are often updated after unlocked versions, so it might take a while before the T-Mobile Android 5.1.1 Lollipop reaches out to this carrier’s customers.
