The Galaxy Mega On is one of those relatively affordable Android phablets Samsung plans to launch by the end of the year. The smartphone has already surfaced on the web a few times revealing specs and the fact that the device has already been certified.

According to a recent report, the Galaxy Mega On has already been spotted at TENAA, but no images of the device accompanied the listing. But at least we’ve got to take a good look at the specs of the upcoming phone.

Well, luckily, the folks at Sam Mobile have managed to dig out the images of the Galaxy Mega On on the website of China’s regulatory agency, so this week we can take a sneak peek at what the phone will look like when it is finally launched in retail.

What we can spot off the bat is that the Galaxy Mega On seems to have ridiculously thin bezels. Certainly, a plus for a handset that’s shaping out to be just a mid-ranger.

Specs of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Mega On

According to leaked information, Samsung’s new phablet will make it out in the jungle with a 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.

Also, the phone is likely to be equipped with a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 412 processor and 1GB of RAM plus 8GB of internal storage. For those who feel like they might need more, the good news is that the smartphone offers a microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 128GB).

The phablet is said to pack a 13MP rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash, and full HD video recording, as well as a secondary 5MP camera up front for selfies and video calls.

For the time being, we don’t have any information about the Galaxy Mega On pricing options, but we assume it will be part of the affordable category.

Nevertheless, we do know that Samsung “budget” devices aren’t exactly dirt-cheap, so expect to spend quite a decent amount of money on this almost bezel-less device, if you think it might be something you’d like to have.
