The development team at Nintendo working on the coming Super Mario Maker is ready to deliver a new trailer for the title and more information about its core mechanics, and the biggest revelation is that gamers will have to basically unlock all the creation tools over a period of nine days.

When the experience is first launched, gamers will have a limited set of tools to use, but as long as they launch it for a minimum period each day, they will get more to work with.

After nine days, the full array of Super Mario Maker mechanics will be open for them.

Nintendo states, "Start creating with a set number of tools to help you learn, then watch the number of tools at your disposal expand more and more every day you play."

The company is also explaining that sounds and visuals will be used in conjunction in Super Mario Maker, with gamers able to create a music block by shaking a classic one while they work on levels.

Songs can be created by manipulating the height of the various blocks and the moment they are activated, allowing gamers to create complex arrangements.

Super Mario Maker will work with more than 50 Amiibo figurines

Nintendo has been working hard to create an interesting way to mix real world toys and video games for all its titles.

Super Mario Maker will support more than 50 Amiibo, including classic ones, and gamers can use a special 30th Anniversary Mario figurine in order to have Big Mario in any of the levels that they create.

The coming video game will allow players to come up with levels that use the style of titles like Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, and New Super Mario Bros. U.

Nintendo wants gamers to express their own personality in their creations and to then share their most complex levels with friends and the wider community.

The company will also create challenges around the best ones and will try to include a competitive element in the title.

Super Mario Maker will be out on the Wii U home console on September 10 of this year in Japan and one day later in North America and in Europe.
