The monthly content update for Subway Surfers has just arrived on all three major platforms and brings a brand new character, new awards, and new Weekly Hunt prizes.

If last month players were able to race through New York City, the Subway Surfers World Tour now continues in Africa.

According to the developers, players will now be able to surf through the beautiful city landscapes of Kenya. But that's not the only content the latest Subway Surfers update brings into the mix.

There's also a new character included, which players can add to their collection. Meet Zuri, the dancing Masai girl that you can unlock with enough coins.

New Awards can be found in Super Mystery Boxes

Furthermore, the official changelog also mentions that Subway Surfers players will now be able to unwrap Super Mystery Boxes to earn exciting new Awards. No additional details on these awards have been shared by the developers though.

Don't forget that in the latest version of Subway Surfers you will have to pick up any shiny shields on the tracks in order to earn the Weekly Hunt prizes.

If you don't have the game yet, you can now download Subway Surfers for Android for free via Google Play Store. The title should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.3.3 and up.

For iOS users, the game is available for download for free via App Store. It should work smoothly on devices running iOS 6.0 or later.

Last but not least, you can also download Subway Surfers for Windows Phone for free via Windows Phone Store. The game has been confirmed to support all devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up.

Keep in mind that, while the title is available for free, it comes with in-app purchases, so if you don't want to spend real money, you can disable this feature.
