Although Microsoft has yet to release Windows 10 Mobile, many OEMs have already announced their new smartphones powered by the latest version of the operating system.

Japan seems to be one of the markets where Windows Phone fans will be very happy since at least three new Windows 10-powered smartphones will be available for purchase in the country by the end of the year: Freetel Katana 01, Yamada Denki EveryPhone, and NuAns Neo.

Since we've already reported about the other two, let's take a look at what NuAns Neo has to offer for Windows Phone fans.

First of all, NuAns Neo is a stylish device that could rival just about any other mid-range smartphone regardless of the operating system.

The most intriguing part about NuAns Neo is the rear shell that can be changed, but you won't be pulling out the battery cover.

The smartphone comes with an interchangeable shell made up of two distinct pieces that can be replaced with different ones. There are many rear shells available to NuAns Neo owners, each of different colors and materials.

You can even use a yellow upper shell and a black lower shell for more diversity. The company launching the smartphone also offers a case that looks like a wallet, which wraps around the NeoAns Neo and protect it.

The specs

Spec-wise, NeoAns Neo runs Windows 10 Mobile and sports a decent 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.

The smartphone comes equipped with a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.

NeoAns Neo drains energy from a 3,350 mAh battery; it packs a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.3-megapixel selfie camera.

Unfortunately, NeoAns Neo is limited to Japanese market where customers can purchase one for 42,800 yen, which is about $350 outright.
