The promotion for this huge sale will end on December 1

Valve has just launched the Exploration Sale and it has discounts for 4,512 games. Yes, you read that right, over 4,500 titles have been discounted.

Valve usually doesn’t skimp when it comes to discounts and the new Exploration Sale is proof of that. You can also call it the Autumn Sale if it makes you feel any better, but the only thing that’s important is the number of games that have been discounted. It’s a challenge to any other digital store out there, and that includes the ones for consoles.

It’s also worth pointing out that Valve chose to drop the already famous Flash Sales or Daily Sales, and they are concentrating on a single price that lasts for a week. It seems to be a new kind of business, but it’s probably prompted by the fact that there are way too many titles in the catalog and some developers might feel left out if only 8 out of 4,000 get to enter a special sale, on the front page.

The Exploration Sale will last until December 1

Since all the games are already available at their best price, the top sellers are becoming a lot clearer. A big surprise is Fallout 4, which was released by Bethesda a few weeks ago. It’s not discounted, but it still gets the number one place.

It’s followed by Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Grand Theft Auto V, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Elite: Dangerous, ARK: Survival Evolved, Rocket League, Endless Legend Collection, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Legendary Edition, Call of Duty®: Black Ops III, H1Z1, Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition, Sid Meier's Civilization V: Complete Edition, Ori and the Blind Forest, Football Manager 2016, and Arma 3.

The funny thing is that Skyrim was released all the way back in 2011, and it’s been discounted numerous times, and Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition doesn’t even work properly on anything past Windows 7.

The promotion for all games will end on December 1.
