The development team at DICE and publisher Electronic Arts are ready to deliver a new short video for Star Wars: Battlefront, which is specifically designed to show fans how the video game can look on a powerful PC, with Tatooine offering the required action.

The new footage comes from the official Twitter account of the title, and the two companies are saying that they are planning to offer more information on actual system requirements soon, as they are apparently finalizing some choices.

The new video looks pretty good, although at times the movement of the player character does seem a little unnatural.

DICE has been careful to clearly show that the footage is taken from an alpha version of the game, so fans can expect to see a range of improvements before the title is actually launched.

The studio might be reacting to the problems that Batman: Arkham City has been having with the graphics on the PC, using the opportunity to suggest that it can deliver a better port of Star Wars: Battlefront.

The focus of the shooter will be on the multiplayer experience

DICE is well known for the way it has made the Battlefield series a success for players who want big levels, cool weapons, and an interplay between infantry, planes and vehicles.

With Star Wars: Battlefront, the studio is aiming to offer a more accessible experience that will continue to encourage players to work together and carefully pick skills and weapons in order to reach their objectives.

The Walker Assault mode was shown during E3 2015 and gamers will also be able to enjoy a Survival experience either solo or cooperatively with a friend.

One of the major new features of the shooter will be a Hero system that allows gamers to become major characters like Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader.

Star Wars: Battlefront will be launched on November 17 on the PC, the Xbox One, and the PlayStation 4.

Battle of Jakku is the first piece of downloadable content for the title, based on The Force Awakens, which will be offered on December 1 for those who pre-order and one week later for the rest of owners.
