Earlier during the day the development team at DICE, publisher Electronic Arts and platform holder Sony announced that they are working on a Star Wars: Battlefront Limited Edition bundle that features the PlayStation 4, which is designed to offer a very cool-looking console to the biggest of fans.

The companies are now ready to confirm that the device included has a 500 GB hard drive and that the additional franchise content offered is not made up of movies, as initial images seemed to suggest, but classic video games.

Players who get the Limited Edition bundle of Star Wars: Battlefront for the PlayStation 4 can play: Super Star Wars, Star Wars: Racer Revenge, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter and Star Wars Bounty Hunter.

A video offers a closer look at the content that gamers can pick up.

Sony and Electronic Arts are also planning to offer a Standard Edition PlayStation 4 bundle for Star Wars: Battlefront, which will include a classic looking black version of both the console itself and the DualShock 2.

The four classic games are also included.

Despite the delivery of more details, the two companies are not ready to talk about the price attached to the newly announced packages and about the moment when they will be offered for pre-order.

Star Wars: Battlefront is another game that Sony is betting big on

The company is working hard to make sure that it keeps the PlayStation 4 in the leads when it comes to hardware sales both worldwide and in the United States, which it has achieved for all but one month of the current year.

The new Limited Edition for Star Wars: Battlefront on the PlayStation 4 is a good way to make sure that gamers who lack a next-gen console will be tempted to pick up one made by Sony.

The new title from DICE and Electronic Arts is shaping up to be one of the biggest launches of the fall and Sony also has secured big deals with Activision for Destiny - The Taken King and Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

Star Wars: Battlefront is set to arrive on the PC, the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One on November 17, and after a few weeks gamers will get a free first downloadable content pack called Battle of Jakku.
