Video game developer DICE and publisher Electronic Arts are still making tweaks to the coming Star Wars Battlefront, with a patch already offered for those who have in-advance access to the video game via the Early Access program on the Xbox One.

The two companies have not yet talked officially about it, but gamers are saying that the update is quick to perform and brings the shooter up to version 1.01.

The relatively short patch notes can be seen by clicking on the button at the end of this article, and the focus is on improving stability for Star Wars Battlefront and on eliminating some of the bugs the developers have found since the game went Gold.

DICE has not said whether it will continue to listen to feedback in the remaining five days and if it might introduce another launch-day update for the rest of the player base.

The studio has talked about a range of modifications that were made to Star Wars Battlefront based on the feedback offered during the beta stage.

Gamers who have access to the EA Access service on the Xbox One can now download a 20 GB file that gives them access to everything the title has to offer for a ten-hour period.

All the progress they make will be kept if they move to the full version of Star Wars Battlefront, and a 10 percent price cut is offered to all those who get the game.

Star Wars Battlefront will focus on the original movie trilogy

Members of the fans community are commenting on Reddit that the development team needs to make more changes to the shooter to make sure that it offers a solid experience on launch, including big tweaks to the player spawning system.

DICE has said that it is satisfied with the experience at it stands now because it wants Star Wars Battlefront to appeal both to newcomers and to those who have an in-depth knowledge of the shooter genre.

The game will allow players to move to four planets that were shown or mentioned in the original movie trilogy, with a range of modes offered on each of them.

Battlefront aims to be as close to the realism of Star Wars as possible, with the developers carefully using data from Lucas Film to reconstruct the hardware that players will use and the atmosphere of the combat.

The centerpiece of the game is the Hero mode, which allows players to become the most powerful characters in the universe, including Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader and their companions on either side of the conflict.

Star Wars Battlefront will be offered on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.

The first downloadable content for all platforms called Battle of Jakku is offered for free and will allow gamers to travel to the desert planet to take part in a major battle that is connected to the story of the coming Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Those who placed a pre-order will get the DLC on December 1 while the rest of the player base will have to wait for another week.
