Rocket League developer Psyonix confirms some more issues that will be resolved with the upcoming patch 1.03 for the popular multiplayer game on PC and PS4, from crashes and lag, to PS4 fan noise, the News Ticket, or trophy redemption problems.

Rocket League burst onto the scene earlier this month, and thanks to the fact that it was free for all PS4 owners with PS Plus subscriptions, the game is quite popular, even on the PC platform. Developer Psyonix has closely monitored the performance of its multiplayer car combat/soccer hybrid and it's already made tweaks via several patches.

Rocket League patch 1.03 is coming soon with fresh improvements

The biggest update yet, in the form of patch 1.03, already got some early details last week, and now Psyonix shares a few more issues that will be resolved when it finally launches in the near future.

First up, PC users who encounter crashes should know that several fixes are coming in the patch in order to make the application more stable. They'll also be able to use various controllers with fewer issues once the patch drops.

All owners of the game who encounter latency should first try to play on servers closer to their location, and with patch 1.03, the online performance will be improved upon.

PS4 users who report increased fan noise when playing Rocket League should be happy to hear that more enhancements are coming with the new update to solve some potential causes of this issue. Psyonix also recommends players to use the right analog stick and move the camera above the battle-car, in order to lower the strain on the PS4.

The new patch should also fix the News Ticker so that it no longer displays the "You are offline, please connect to the Internet to get updated news" message even if players are actually online.

The update will also remedy certain PS4 trophies and PC Steam achievements so that players can unlock them when performing the necessary goals.

Last but not least, the patch is also going to prevent at least some instances of cars turning invisible. Psyonix notes that the issue has multiple causes and eliminating all of them isn't possible with just patch 1.03.
