The developers have made a lot of improvements to the game

Rainbow Six Siege has been out for a couple of weeks now, and Ubisoft has just released a big update for the game, with an important focus on the PC users.

Rainbow Six Siege has been a success for Ubisoft, although it wasn't as big as the developers have hoped. The initial response from shows and conferences was really good, but the game had a few issues working against it right from the start, such as the lack of a proper single-player campaign and the presence of microtransactions.

Releasing games that are aimed mostly at people who like to play multiplayer is a risky thing to do. They tend to get bored pretty quickly with the game, and the appeal fades almost immediately. Rainbow Six Siege is a good title, and it has that going for him. Hopefully, the update will keep people interested for longer.

PC players get an obvious perk

Many PC users noticed straight away that they looked a little washed out and with low-resolution textures. Now that problem has been fixed by this patch, which brings a DLC called Ultra-HD Texture.

"The changes described below will take effect on December 16th. This update will be for all platforms, but PC players will receive the following message during the maintenance: [3-0x80030081] IncompatibleCustomClientVersion. This is normal, and it means that you should close your game, have it update, launch it again, and enjoy the improvements we made," the developers wrote on the official forums.

Another interesting and very important fix was made to the gameplay. It seems that there are quite a lot of people out there who choose to kill their teammates and not the enemy. That behavior has been curved by implementing an autokick feature. It's not perfect and people who make mistakes will be kicked out, but it might work as a deterrent, at least.

You can check the rest of the changes on their official forum.
