Earlier today, January 19, the qBittorrent open-source and cross-platform BitTorrent client for GNU/Linux, Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows operating systems has been updated to version 3.3.2.

According to the official release notes, which have also been attached at the end of the article for reference, qBittorrent 3.3.2 is more than a maintenance release to the 3.3 series of the software, as it adds a bunch of new features requested by users.

Among these, we can mention the addition of a new column to the peers list that will display all the files that you are downloading at that moment from a peer, as well as an improved users interface of the "Watch folders" dialog.

Additionally, qBittorrent 3.3.2 ships with support for loading multiple magnets, URLs, or hashes per .magnet file in the watched folder, which need to be reconfigured after updating to the new version.

"qBittorrent 3.3.2 was released. It fixes a few regressions. If you use watch folders you'll need to reconfigure them. The Windows binary is compiled using MSVC 2015 now," say the qBittorrent developers in today's announcement.

Web UI improvements, cosmetic changes

In addition to the new features mentioned above, the second maintenance release of qBittorrent 3.3 comes with numerous improvements to the web-based user interface of the software, as well as a multitude of fixes for the most annoying issues that have been reported by users since the previous version.

There are also a couple of cosmetic changes, improvements to the internal search functionality, minor fixes for the Linux and Mac OS X builds, as well as various other under-the-hood enhancements to make the application more reliable and stable.
