Carmen Electra is second oldest now, has been dethroned

It’s a (virtual) battle of the “Baywatch” babes and Pamela Anderson is winning it! Last year, former VJ turned ultimate babe Carmen Electra became the oldest woman to be featured on the cover of lads’ magazine FHM, but Pamela has just snatched her crown.

Pamela is 48, for the record. Her FHM cover, which is aimed to help her promote her new coffee table book “Raw,” is included above.

Age is nothing but a number

They say age is nothing but a number, but that definitely doesn’t apply in showbiz. Few are the women who manage to stay as active as they were when they were younger, once they’re past 40, but Carmen and Pamela are among them.

They might have walked away from their past bombshell image, but they’re still working steady and even landing one magazine cover after another. However, when Carmen got the cover of FHM, the world was pleasantly surprised: this was a nice change for a magazine that used to feature only women in their 20s.

It was a short-lived victory for Carmen: Pamela is 7 years her senior, so she is now officially the oldest woman to pose for the cover of the publication.

“Raw” and Playboy

Pamela has been keeping very busy with the promotion of the book “Raw,” which includes personal portraits by a photographer friend, diary entries and even poetry written by her.

She says it’s perhaps the most personal project she put together, one that would allow her loyal fans a very good glimpse inside her life. It’s the most intimate connection they will get, because she tells FHM she will never write a tell-all or otherwise go on record about her past as a Playboy Bunny.

She will say this, though: it was wild!

“It was all wild, but respectful. The men were elegant, and you wanted to badly get the most charismatic man to notice you. Girls were everywhere, giggling and laughing,” she tells the publication. “People have begged me for details, but a kiss-and-tell is not my style. I will say, I've never been with someone I'm not madly in love with, willingly… but I do fall in love easily.”

Her divorce attorneys know that only too well.
