Shortly after the announcement of the Manjaro Linux Xfce 15.09 Release Candidate build, Philip Müller has informed us all about the immediate availability for download and testing of the third and last RC build of Manjaro Linux KDE 15.09.

Not much has changed since the previous Release Candidate build of the forthcoming Manjaro Linux KDE 15.09 operating system, as it remains based on the long-term supported Linux 4.1 kernel, which adds better support for the latest hardware components, the most advanced Linux technologies, and long-term viability.

Furthermore, Manjaro Linux KDE 15.09 RC3 is built around the KDE Plasma 5.4.1 desktop environment with an improved version of the Menda theme, which has been rebased on the beautiful Vertex theme, and comes with the recently released KDE Applications 15.08.1 software collection.

"Our KDE edition continues to deliver this powerful, mature and feature-rich desktop environment with a unique look-and-feel, and with the perks of Manjaro's latest tools," says Philip Müller. "It was a huge step to get it all playing together smoothly and to give the user experience the same feeling as our KDE4 editions of the past."

Final release of Manjaro Linux KDE 15.09 is coming at the end of the week

Among other new features implemented in this last RC build of Manjaro Linux KDE 15.09, we can mention initial support for the Linux 4.3 kernel series in the Manjaro Settings Manager utility, KDE Frameworks 5 support, the latest versions of the Pamac and Octopi package managers, as well as the Calamares graphical installer (optional).

Only a few days separate us from the final release of the Manjaro Linux 15.09 operating system, which will be distributed in two editions with the Xfce and KDE desktop environments. Those who can't wait can download the Manjaro Linux KDE 15.09 Release Candidate build and take it for a test drive to see what's new.
