Microsoft is readying a whole lineup of new Windows 10 smartphones, which are expected to be announced as early as September.

Beside the two high-end Lumia smartphones that Microsoft is likely to launch this fall, the Redmond-based company is also said to release at least four other handsets by the end of the year.

They will be placed at the mid- and low-tier, and they will ship with Windows 10 Mobile operating system right out of the box.

We have little information about these four Lumia smartphones that should arrive along with the two flagship devices. The good news is we now have details on at least one Lumia handset now being tested by Microsoft.

Some of you might remember that an unannounced Lumia RM-1127 has been spotted at Zauba back in May.

The smartphone was confirmed to pack a 4.7-inch HD (720p) display, but aside from that nothing else was known about the device.

Today, another variation of the same model has been spotted at GFXBench, which means we now have more information on its specs.

It might be the cheapest Windows 10 phone

The device is codenamed Nokia RM-1128 and sports a 4.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution, just like we stated in our previous report.

We also know that the smartphone will be equipped with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor, an Adreno 304 graphics processing unit and 1GB of RAM.

The hardware configuration makes us believe that the RM-1128 might be among the cheapest Windows Phone handsets to be announced by Microsoft later this year.

Furthermore, the benchmark also confirms that the smartphone will pack 8GB of internal memory, but Microsoft is likely to include microSD card slot for memory expansion as well.

Last but not least, a 5-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus and HD (720p) video recording is included in the back, while in the front a 1.2-megapixel camera is mentioned.
