The Lumia 950 XL was briefly available for pre-order in the United States at Microsoft Store last week, but stocks have depleted pretty fast.

Customers were able to pre-order Microsoft's flagship smartphone twice in the United States, but the second round of pre-ordered units will begin to ship in mid-December.

However, those who managed to pre-order the Lumia 950 XL from the first stock were promised to receive their devices this month.

Well, it looks like many customers who pre-ordered the Lumia 950 XL last week have already started to receive their smartphones, WindowsCentral reports.

Unfortunately, others will still have to wait until next month to get their Lumia 950 XL, even though the smartphone will go on sale at Microsoft Store US later today.

According to the Redmond-based company, Lumia 950 XL will be exclusively available in the US through Microsoft Store online beginning November 25.

The next round of Lumia 950 XL sales won't include a free Continuum dock

Also, the flagship smartphone will sell in Microsoft brick and mortar stores on November 26. Keep in mind, though, that some stores will open later and might close early due to the Thanksgiving Day.

Microsoft Lumia 950 XL will be available for purchase for just $650, and customers will be able to choose between white and black colors.

Microsoft will also launch the Lumia 950 through its official stores, but the smartphone is already available at AT&T. Still, the unlocked version of the Lumia 950 will sell at Microsoft Store US for $600 outright.

Sadly, the next round of Lumia 950 XL units coming at Microsoft Store US won't be bundled with Continuum dock, so customers will have to purchase it separately.

In other news, Microsoft is expected to launch an affordable Windows 10 Mobile smartphone, the Lumia 550, next month. It's unclear when it will make it to the US, but some European retailers have already confirmed the Lumia 550 will be available in early December.
