We reported a few days ago that Microsoft had already started the rollout of Windows 10 Mobile upgrade for Lumia 535, but only in Egypt and Jordan.

Today, another budget-friendly smartphone seems to be getting the update as well. We're talking about the Lumia 640 XL Dual SIM, one of the popular handsets launched by Microsoft back in April.

According to the folks over at Winphone.ir, Windows 10 Mobile is now pushed for Lumia 640 XL Dual SIM. That being said, it looks like the availability of the long-awaited upgrade widens to more and more countries in the Middle East.

The source of the information also provides us with proof of Windows 10 Mobile update in the form of the few screenshots.

“Windows 10 is here! Get hundreds of improved features, new Office apps that work seamlessly across your Windows 10 devices, and more. For details about how the update will impact your experience, please read windows.com/mobilespecs. Significant download required,” reads one of the screenshots.

Many Windows 10 Mobile builds released in the last couple of weeks

Microsoft has been trying to release more Windows 10 Mobile builds in the last few months, and the company has managed to deliver on that promise partially.

It remains to be seen when the global rollout of Windows 10 Mobile begins since it's only available in select countries at the moment.

In other news, Microsoft is expected to launch its first Windows 10 Mobile in 2016, the Lumia 650. The smartphone might be unveiled as early as tomorrow, February 15.

It will be a budget-friendly handset with quad-core Snapdragon 212 (or 210) processor and 1GB of RAM. Unfortunately, the only reason Windows Phone fans might want to grab the Lumia 650 is Windows 10 Mobile, which comes preloaded.

Many fans believe that a mid-range Windows 10 Mobile device with support for Continuum for Phones would have been a much better choice for Microsoft's next smartphone release. Hopefully, that device will come sooner rather than later.
