The Xbox One Kinect Bundle has been discounted as well

Microsoft is getting ready to take the holidays season head on, and the company is preparing some important discounts for the Kinect For Xbox One and the Xbox One Kinect Bundle.

With the recent PlayStation price cut announced by Sony, and after their really good reported console sale, Microsoft needed to do something special. The only thing left to do was to apply a discount for a couple of their products, in this case for Kinect For Xbox One and the special Xbox One Kinect Bundle. There is one caveat; the discounts are only temporary as the company also recently slashed the price of Xbox One as well.

With the holiday season knocking on their door and with the added pressure of selling more consoles, Microsoft is still struggling to convince people to buy its products. Xbox One has registered in the consciousness of the community as the weaker console, the one that can't do 1080p, which is not a good position to be in.

Microsoft is worried, and it's trying really hard not to show it. It was recently decided that the number of sold consoles won't be made public anymore as it's no longer relevant for them.

Discounts on Black Friday

The discounts arrive just in time for the public to mark these products on their list to buy for Black Friday. Kinect for Xbox One is not doing so great on its own, especially since there is not a lot of support regarding games for it, despite being heavily advertised.

"Earlier this month we announced the availability of the Xbox One with Kinect Bundle featuring an Xbox One 500GB console, Kinect for Xbox One and full-game downloads of Dance Central Spotlight, Kinect Sports Rivals and Zoo Tycoon. Starting today, the Xbox One with Kinect Bundle will be available for a special, limited-time promotional offer of $399 (€360) in the U.S., Canada and Mexico," reads the entry on the official website.

According to Microsoft, the Xbox One with Kinect Bundle is available at Microsoft Stores and other retailers including Amazon, Best Buy and Target. There is no word of Europe or other regions. Also, Kinect for Xbox One will also be available for a special, limited-time promotional offer of $99 (€90), just for U.S., Canada and Mexico.
