14 DAY TRIAL // The developers behind the popular digiKam Software Collection open-source and cross-platform image viewer and organizer software for GNU/Linux and Mac OS X operating systems have announced the immediate availability for download of digiKam 4.13.0.

The development cycle of the 4.x branch of digiKam Software Collection will continue with another maintenance version, version 4.14.0, scheduled for release on October 11, 2015. According to the official release schedule, digiKam 4.14.0 will be the last version in the 4.x series, as digiKam 5.0.0 is planned for Q1 2016, which will be ported to KDE Frameworks 5.
