The other day saw the release of the official artwork for Jennifer Aniston’s third fragrance, which is called Near Dusk and she described as a nighttime perfume, perfect for a date. In an interview with People Magazine promoting it, she reveals she doesn’t like it when her men smell of cologne.

She prefers them if they smell of sweat. So that probably means she will never create a fragrance for men.

Jennifer Aniston gets real

Fans know that Jennifer Aniston doesn’t talk that much about her private life, but when she does, she’s certainly not beating about the bush. In this interview, she talks about her favorite smells in the world, which include the smell of jasmine, the smell of church and the earthy smell in Ellen DeGeneres’ house, and men fragrances.

She doesn’t like those, she says. “I’m very anti-cologne on men. I love the way they smell naturally. Their own eau de sweat,” Jennifer explains. Had she stopped at the natural smell, she would have avoided being mocked on social media and in the blogosphere.

However, before you think that Jennifer’s fiancé Justin Theroux must stink if she agreed to marry him when he asked, she says that he uses natural oils instead of perfume. “He does a sandalwood kind of smell. Maybe that’s one of the things that drew me to him. He has those come-hither sandalwood pheromones happening,” she explains.

Jennifer and Near Dusk

In a previous interview, the former “Friends” actress said that, unlike many other celebrities who put out all kinds of products, she didn’t just slapped her name onto Near Dusk and was done with it.

She was actually involved in every step of the creative process, smelled and tested hundreds of ingredients before settling on those that would make the composition, and then tested the fragrance on her own skin to see how it evolved throughout the day.

This is Aniston’s third fragrance, but she says this one is different in that it’s more sensual, more suitable for a date night.
