Apple has just released the second Beta builds of its upcoming iOS 9.3 mobile operating system, OS X 10.11.4 El Capitan maintenance release for supported Macs, tvOS 9.2 for Apple TV, as well as the watchOS 2.2 update for Apple Watch devices.

At the time of writing this article, only developers who have a registered Apple Developer account are able to update their supported devices running iOS 9.3 Beta 1 to today's Beta 2 build and enjoy the great new features Apple has prepared for this release.

It looks like iOS 9.3 received the most attention from Apple's developers in this second Beta build. Thus, it now implements the awesome Night Shift feature we talked about two weeks ago, which users can now fully control from within the Settings app, as well as via the brand new Night Shift toggle in Control Center.

Also new in iOS 9.3 Beta 2 is support for password or Touch ID-protected notes in the Notes app and a new toggle in the Music settings panel called "Add Playlist Songs to My Music." Moreover, there is support for displaying the current Watch face in the Apple Watch app, as well as the addition of new 3D Touch actions for the Tips app.

What's new in OS X 10.11.4, tvOS 9.2, and watchOS 2.2 Beta 2

Support for password-protected notes has also landed in today's second Beta build of the upcoming Mac OS X 10.11.4 El Capitan computer operating system, so users can access their secure notes created on iPad, iPhone or iPod touch devices on their Macs too. Other than that, OS X 10.11.4 includes the usual under-the-hood improvements.

On the other hand, watchOS 2.2 Beta 2 arrives today for Apple Watch devs with an enhanced Maps app that features a Yelp-powered Nearby search and a brand new screen of actions. Last but not least, tvOS 9.2 beta 2 for Apple TV 4 adds support for Live Photos and iCloud Photo Library.

Again, only registered developers can install the Beta 2 build of iOS 9.3, Mac OS X 10.11.4 El Capitan, watchOS 2.2, and tvOS 9.2, but Public Beta builds should arrive in the coming days too for the rest of the world, and we have the perfect tutorials on how to install iOS 9.3 Public Betas and OS X 10.11.4 Public Betas.
