Apple just released the third beta of the 9.1 pre-release, tagged with the 13B5130b build, first for developers and after just a few hours to general public beta testers enrolled in the Beta Software Program.

According to the release notes published on Apple's iOS Prerelease Developer Library, this new iOS pre-release comes with bug fixes for iCloud Keychain and iCloud Backup, as well as some new wallpapers and a slightly revamped keyboard.

First of all, iOS 9.1 Beta 3 addresses an issue where the iCloud Keychain might get turned off when two-factor authentication is disabled.

For iOS installments running on iPads, the third 9.1 Beta fixes a bug that would not allow the user to complete the activation after activating iCloud Keychain.

Another issue fixed in the latest iOS pre-release would block iCloud Backup from working if the device region didn't match the language. According to Apple, this issue might be circumvented by making sure that you set the same region and language before starting the backup process.

As previously mentioned, the new iOS 9.1 pre-release also features three new planets wallpapers and a slightly modified version of an already built-in wallpaper in previous versions of iOS.

iOS 9.1 Beta 3 also includes redesigned Shift and Delete keyboard keys, with the new ones being just a little easier to distinguish when activated than the ones available in keyboard iterations available in earlier versions of iOS.

Devices upgraded to iOS 9.1 Beta pre-release versions can be downgraded only by entering DFU mode

As described by Apple on the iOS 9.1 Beta 3 download page, after you update your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to the latest iOS 9.1, you will not be able to restore it to an earlier version of iOS using the usual iTunes update process. However, you are still able to go back if you follow our iOS 9.1 Beta to iOS 9 downgrade tutorial.

If you have installed iOS 9.1 Beta 2 on your iOS device, you can update to the third beta of iOS 9.1 from Settings > General > Software Update.

The iOS 9.1 Beta 3 release is compatible with the following iOS devices: iPhone 4s or later, iPod touch (5th gen), and iPad 2 or later.
