Apple released iOS 9 on September 16, 2015, and if you haven't had the chance to fully explore all the new features, I have just the right visual aid for getting a quick overview of the most important additions in Apple's latest iOS release.

As I already said in my iOS 9 review, the new iOS version comes with little more than better security, faster apps, iPad multitasking support, and a slew of under-the-hood little tweaks to make it fast on most compatible devices.

The infographic created by INTERQUEST GROUP presents in a visual and very easy-to-follow fashion five of the most important features Apple included in iOS 9.

As you can see below, Apple's iOS 9 comes with an improved multitasking, allowing iOS device owners to use two apps at the same time in split view mode or picture-in-picture.

Moreover, iOS 9 comes with an enhanced QuickType feature that makes it simple to format and select text, as well as use shortcuts a lot more easily than before.

Siri is also a lot smarter and enables iOS 9 users to search for a wider range of topics and understands queries faster and better than in iOS 8.

The iOS 9 update brings important security upgrades like six-digit passcodes and two-factor authentication

iOS 9 also bundles better security for the end user, featuring both two-factor authentication and six-digit passcodes instead of the old four-digit ones that were a lot easier to circumvent.

Last but not least, devices that run iOS 9 get better battery life because app and system updates are now a lot smaller, the device is faster and more responsive, and the new iOS also bundles a new low power mode designed to help the iOS device save energy to run longer.

Take a look at INTERQUEST GROUP's infographic embedded below to get a quick overview of some of the most important features improved or added in iOS 9.
