The development team at 343 Industries announces that the coming content update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection is now ready to enter the certification phase, which means that all the work associated with it has been completed.

The studio says that, in the coming days, testing will start in order to make sure that no problems are introduced, and we might get a launch later in the week, although no date has been mentioned by the company.

343 Industries says that once it goes live, the Halo: The Master Chief Collection content update will deliver fixes as well as improvements to ranking and an entirely new system which will deal with quitters, betrayals and iddling.

So far the team is not willing to deliver any full patch notes.

A new playlist update is also being planned for Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which will introduce a range of tweaks that gamers can see by clicking on the button at the end of this article, although it also lacks an official date.

343 Industries says that it will continue to gather feedback from gamers to improve all the systems of the shooter.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection gains importance as Guardians nears launch

The package might have been affected by a large number of problems when it was first launched, but since then a range of updates and free content were offered to make sure that gamers remain engaged with it.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is important because it is the only way to experience the first four core experiences powered by Master Chief on the Xbox One, allowing newcomers to get up to date with the story.

Halo 5: Guardians will be launched on October 27 only on the Xbox One.

The new title will deliver a range of experiences that should appeal to a wide number of players.

The single-player campaign is designed to offer the perspective of both Master Chief and Agent Locke as a new massive threat is preparing to destroy life in the galaxy.

For the first time in the series, four-player cooperative play is included.

When it comes to multiplayer, Halo: The Master Chief Collection will offer a new Warzone experience, which is designed to deliver a range of battles on very large maps, and an Arena subset, which is more competitive and geared towards eSports.
