Halo is one of the biggest intellectual properties in the history of the video game industry, and the development team at 343 Industries and publisher Microsoft are currently working with a company called Musterbrand to create clothing based on it, with a focus on UNSC-branded options for the fall season.

On the official Halo Waypoint site, they explain that gamers who are interested will be able to pick up a variety of pieces designed to be both stylish and wearable, while also showing off a player's interest in the story of Master Chief and the character associated with him.

Toby Rayfield, an executive at Musterbrand, states that his company worked closely with the development team at 343 Industries in order to understand the game and what can be created in connection to it.

He adds, "Once we have assets, such as concept art, sketches, colours and 3d renders, we are able to start looking for fabrics and trims as well as thinking about the initial shapes and elements from the game that we can incorporate into our designs, such as the shape of Master Chief’s armor or his iconic helmet."

The Musterbrand teams are trying to offer clothes that actual UNSC warriors would wear when they are not on duty. Thus, each piece will be unique and will have an attached story that gamers will be able to explore.

Halo already supports a universe of books, movies, and comic books

Gamers are at the moment able to catch up on the past adventures of Master Chief by picking up the Halo collection offered on the Xbox One, which is still getting new content and tweaks from 343 Industries.

At the same time, novels are arriving all through the year, delivering details on the stories that took place after Halo 4 and on some of the characters that will make an appearance in Guardians.

There are also comic books loaded with details, and Nightfall, the movie linked to Halo, was designed to offer a comprehensive backstory for the characters of Agent Locke.

Halo 5: Guardians will be out on October 27 only on the Xbox One.

Apparently, the TV series based on the same universe that Steven Spielberg was working on is still in development and might make an appearance in 2016.
