Halo 5: Guardians developer 343 Industries emphasizes that the new title is built from the ground up for the Xbox One console and the power of the device allows its team to create ambitious experiences like the new Warzone multiplayer experience.

Halo 5 is set to debut later this fall on the Xbox One, but the franchise has already made a big debut on the console last year, thanks to the Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which remastered Halo 1, 2, 3, and 4, for the new device.

However, with Halo 5, developer 343 Industries emphasizes that it's built the first-person shooter from the ground up for the powerful system. As such, the team was able to deliver its most ambitious experience yet, according to a new interview with GamingBolt.

343's Chris Lee even emphasizes that several aspects, such as the all-new Warzone multiplayer mode, are only possible on the Xbox One. The experience, in particular, boasts not only competitive battles between players but also encounters against AI-controlled opponents, which also have to be powered by the device.

"I think we’ve done a ton of work to bring our title to the Xbox One and leverage the power of that. I think at the same point we’ve gone after really ambitious modes like Warzone. Warzone is our new 12v12 plus enemy AI mode that we’ve talked about has everything from the core Halo gameplay in that mode. Its got enemies, its got vehicle, its got the biggest player count we’ve ever had, so that was a really big technical challenging feat," he explains.

Xbox One owners were already able to experience a bit of Halo 5 at the beginning of the year, when a multiplayer beta took place on the console.

You can expect to see and hear much more of the new shooter as we get closer to its October 27 debut.
