One of the many mid-range Android smartphones launched by HTC this year, the One E9s, has finally been released in India after making its debut in China back in June.

While the phone hasn't been officially launched in India, HTC One E9s is now available for purchase in the country, a new report confirms. Customers can now pick this one up for just Rs 20,497 outright, which is about $315 or €280.

Keep in mind though that, for the time being, the smartphone is only selling via eBay India. The good news is you will be able to choose from three color options: Meteor Grey, Roast Chestnut, and White Luxury.

Obviously, this is the dual-SIM version of the smartphone, which also packs 4G LTE support. Other connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS with AGPS support are included, too.

It might be one of the many HTC smartphones to receive the Marshmallow upgrade

The smartphone ships with the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box, but we expect HTC to offer an Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade next year.

Hardware-wise, the One E9s is equipped with a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752M processor, a Mali-T760 graphics processing unit, and 2GB of RAM.

The handset packs 16GB of storage inside, but it also includes microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 128GB).

HTC One E9s sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution. There's also a 13-megapixel camera on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.

The mid-ranger comes with a 4-UltraPixel camera in the front as well, which features BSI sensor and full HD (1080p) video recording.

Other highlights of the One E9s include a 2,600 mAh battery, BoomSound speakers with Dolby Audio sound technology, and 3.5mm audio jack port.
