The team at BBC working on The Gamechangers, the movie based on the evolution of Rockstar Games and the launch of Grand Theft Auto, is offering those interested a first trailer for it and announcing that the entire product will be shown on BBC Two on September 15 at 9 PM Greenwich Mean Time.

The footage features a first look at Daniel Radcliffe, best known for his work in Harry Potter, playing Sam Houser, the president and co-founder of the development studio.

Jack Thompson and his crusade against violence in video games will also make an appearance, played by Bill Paxton.

The script for The Gamechangers was created by James Wood and the directing duties were handled by Owen Harris.

The BBC says that it was drawn to the story of Rockstar because they had a big impact on the video game world and on the way non-gamers approached the hobby.

The company has previously claimed that it was not involved in the creation of The Gamechangers and that it believes the movie cannot represent reality because it is not based on accurate information.

GTA V continues to be a huge success

The franchise is one of the biggest sellers in the world of video games, and the most recent installment has managed to make a big impact on older home consoles, on the PC, and on the new Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The open world single-player experience in itself represents the best that Rockstar has created, filled with activities and impressive sights.

But the star of GTA V is the Online mode, which is getting a range of new missions from the team along with free updates, but it is also boosted by content created by the community.

Rockstar says that the full Editor for the game will be launched as part of a big September update on both the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.

Last year, rumors talked about a single-player downloadable content pack for GTA V, but the success of Online might mean that the studio will delay it in order to make sure that gamers remain engaged with the most popular mode.
