Windows 10 build 10158, which was released by Microsoft two days ago, is the first to come with Edge browser, as Redmond has finally completed the rebranding process from Project Spartan.

Build 10159 has been rolled out today, and Microsoft Edge is one of the apps that have received a few bug fixes, so after updating, the browser should be even faster and more stable.

Indeed, Microsoft Edge really seems to be faster in this new version, and the browser comes with both a dark and a light theme, just like in the previous builds, but everything appears to come together quite nicely this time, and Edge is becoming a really powerful browser for Windows 10.

Download and password manager

Microsoft Edge also comes with a password manager, so it can remember your passwords for the websites you browse, thus making it easier to log in with your usernames and passwords, without having to input your credentials every time.

But what’s more important is that this is only the beginning and Microsoft Edge is projected to receive more features in the coming months, as Microsoft continues work on the browser and plans to release new improvements as part of a larger update later this year.

For instance, one of the features that will arrive in Microsoft Edge is support for browser extensions developed for Google Chrome, but they will require small tweaks that need to be made by their developers. This feature will thus extend the functionality of the browser and make it more customizable, as most browsers on the market already provide such features.

Right now, it’s not yet clear when this new update is expected to arrive, but some people say that it should be here this autumn, so October is very likely to witness its debut.
