The development team at Rockstar has long shown that it has an uncanny ability to understand the psyche of a United States gamer and the company is now delivering a new set of sales for the Online component of Grand Theft Auto V that are calibrated to celebrate the Labor Day weekend and the end of the summer season.

On the official site of the title the studio explains that, "Never ones to miss out on the chance to commandeer a holiday as an excuse for promotional discounts, the Los Santos Chamber Of Commerce is celebrating Labor Day in Southern San Andreas with a docket of new deals in GTA Online this weekend, along with bonuses on select recreational activities."

On Friday, September 4 GTA V fans will be able to get a 25 percent discount for all aircraft and double the RP and the money for all air races and parachuting jobs.

Saturday, September 5 will be the day when gamers will be able to get the same price cut for high-performance cars and land races double their rewards.

On Sunday, September 6 GTA V Online is implementing a drop of a quarter for all boats and the watersports section of the title delivers more money and reputation for players.

Finally on Monday, September 7 Warstock Cache & Carry is delivering the now customary 25 percent price cut and the better rewards are linked to deathmatches.

GTA V Online continues to be the focus for Rockstar

The development team has already said that it plans to deliver a major update for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 versions of the title before the end of September.

It will feature some fixes but also a full release of the Editor that so far has only been offered on the PC.

This means that the community will have more ways to create jobs and other content that can then be shared with the rest of the current GTA V Online players.

This means that Rockstar will be under less pressure to deliver its own official updates and missions and can focus on improving the underlying experience.

The company has not announced another content pack so far but one might be introduced before the end of the year, and there's also a possibility that single-player downloadable content will be announced for GTA V.
