14 DAY TRIAL // One of the popular photo-editing applications available to Windows Phone users, Fhotoroom has just received a significant update that brings new features and improvements but, most importantly, support for Windows 10 Mobile.
Even though the bulk of Windows Phone handsets are still stuck on version 8.1, each day more users decide to go for Microsoft's Windows 10 Mobile preview build.
Fhotoroom developers have decided to make it easier for those still on Windows Phone 8.1 due to the lack of apps with support for Windows 10 Mobile to transition to the new OS.
Even if the application had to be rewritten from the ground up, Windows 10 Mobile support is not the only important improvement developers have added to Fhotoroom.
According to the official changelog, Fhotoroom users will be pleased to know that developers have added support for more than 650 digital cameras, more than 30 file associations and 30 share file formats.
Continuum for Phones is supported as well
Moreover, full metadata support is available as well, along with the option to import or replace photo metadata. And the good things keep coming, as Fhotoroom now features Continuum for Phone support.
However, if you plan on taking advantage of this feature, you should know that Continuum for Phone support in Fhotoroom is still in beta, so if you find any bugs, don't hesitate to contact developers.
Last but not least, lots of subtle UI/UX enhancements, along with performance boosting have been implemented. Naturally, many bug fixes and improvements are also part of this update, but no additional details have been shared on any of them.
If you don't have the application yet, you can now download Fhotoroom for Windows 10 Mobile for free via Windows Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices running Windows 10 Mobile and up.
