Electronic Arts has recently announced that it will be ending support for some of its older mobile games that were launched on Android and iOS platforms.

According to the well-known mobile games publisher and developer, beginning September 1, it will remove lots of their games from App Store and Google Play Store. This means they won't be available for download anymore effective September 1.

Furthermore, EA has confirmed it will end support for these games going forward, so there won't be any further updates or new content delivered to those who still have the mobile titles installed on their devices.

“We are focusing our efforts on developing new and exciting titles, as well as bringing new content and updates to existing popular games,” EA states in a short blog post.

No Windows Phone games have been removed from Store

Those who still play older EA mobile games might want to take note of the titles that will be removed from App Store and Google Play store this month:

Bejeweled 2, Burnout CRASH!, Dead Space, Don't Fall Off, EA Shooter Pack / Battle Pack, Flight Control, Flight Control Rocket, Fly With Me, Lemonade Tycoon, Mass Effect Infiltrator, MMA by EA SPORTS, MMA by EA SPORTS (FREE), Need for Speed Shift, Need for Speed Shift for iPad, Real Racing, Sims Medieval by EA, Skate It by EA, Spore Creatures, Spore Creature (FREE), Spore Origins, Spore Origins (FREE), SPY Mouse, and SPY Mouse HD.

Keep in mind though that EA has stated that all mobile gamers who still have any of these titles installed on their devices will still be able to play them normally.

However, as mentioned earlier, these game won't be getting any updates or new content in the future, so you should check out EA's new mobile games released in App Store and Google Play Store.
