This is how you treat premium customers!

If you decided to buy one of EVGA's latest hybrid graphics adapters like the Titan X, GTX 980Ti or GTX 980 HYBRID, then you're in luck. Apparently, EVGA decided that buyers of premium EVGA cards should get a Shroud facelift for free, with an additional LED.

Calling it the "Face Off" program, EVGA wants to keep its clients as satisfied as possible, and since its hybrid water and air cooled cards are probably among the most expensive EVGA sells, it wouldn't be out of place to give them a cover facelift for free. However, those interested should know the offer is available only for a limited amount of time.

EVGA's hybrid cards use dual cooling solutions: an all-in-one liquid cooler that works alongside a fan that also cools the card. This solution allows the hybrid cars to achieve higher overclocks, thus offering extreme performance values. It's no wonder, however, that slightly lower performance cards like the GTX 970 don't get this treatment.

The new Shroud cover looks sleek and nice, perfect for a $1000+ card

Apparently, only the ultimate cards from EVGA enjoy a hybrid cooling system, so it makes sense that after spending a bucket-load of money on such extreme cards, spending another couple of bucks for new covers would be a bit of a rip-off. EVGA does have some common sense after all.

In addition, the new shroud from EVGA looks pretty good. It comes with black and silver-ish metal colors, making it look mean and unique, justifying paying those hard-earned $1,400 in the end.

Shroud requests can be made at the EVGA's official website, and you'll need to fill a form to prove that you purchased such a card. The program is ongoing until the supplies last, so applying there quickly would guarantee you a free shroud cover.

It's nice to see companies give such free tokens of gratitude to premium card buyers, and clearly such gesture will help them gather more fans and loyal customers on the long run.
