Valve doesn't usually leak information about games

Dragon Quest Heroes is a hack and slash game developed by Omega Force and published by Square Enix. It was released for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 this October, although it was made available in Japan early this year. From the looks of it, the game is also coming to Steam, but we shouldn't have known that.

Console exclusives are a big deal and publishers really care about these titles. We know that Dragon Quest Heroes is not a console exclusive, but it was made available only for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, and there was no mention of a PC version, planned or in the works.

Valve doesn't usually make mistakes, and they don't let information regarding upcoming games slip, especial when a game has no PC version planned. This is happening with Dragon Quest Heroes, which is coming to the PC platform, although there is no information as to when that will happen.

Dragon Quest Heroes is not listed on Steam

When a user opens Steam and there is a new promotion, a different page will be offered with a button for details. This is where the announcement for Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below (the entire title) has been spotted, according to a report on gematsu.com. Clicking on more details just took the users to the main store page.

The game is not present in the Steam Database either, and there are no repositories for it. The simplest explanation is that somehow the wrong image was uploaded for the promotion. Dragon Quest Heroes will come to Steam and Valve had advanced knowledge of that, which they shared by mistake.

It would have been nice if Valve made this mistake with Half-Life 3 or some other impossible game, but we'll be contented with the idea that Valve just might slip up one day.
