Madden NFL 16 arrived across multiple platforms in August, and as always, millions of American football fans have flocked to try out the latest iteration in the major series made by Electronic Arts' Sports division.

A lot of new elements, gameplay mechanics, and other improvements have been included, not to mention the now-classic Madden Ultimate Team experience.

Now, after gathering feedback in the last few weeks, EA Sports has just released the first big patch for Madden NFL 16, in the form of Title Update 1, which is available for download across the PS4 and Xbox One platforms.

According to the official website, there are quite a few bug fixes, tweaks, and other changes included in the hefty patch.

In terms of direct gameplay, AI defenders should no longer get wrong encroachment penalties, and receivers won't be called down when they aren't touched.

The Connected Franchise mechanic has also received a series of tweaks to regression for offensive linemen, rookie deep accuracy rating, or supersim stats during certain moments.

Of course, the popular Madden Ultimate Team mode has also been modified to solve a rare issue that caused no images to appear for certain items.

A lot of different crash scenarios have been remedied, so Madden NFL 16 should no longer shut down when using multiple controllers or other such things. General bugs have been fixed while stability issues have also been eliminated.
