Dying Light developer Techland has just released two big things for its popular zombie survival game. First up, those who still haven't gotten a chance to play the game can get a free demo, complete with a cooperative mode, across PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Veterans can also enjoy a gameplay video with footage from the upcoming The Following expansion.

Dying Light launched at the beginning of the year and delivered its pretty impressive zombie survival experience to plenty of fans from all over the world, across PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Since then, Techland has released not just free updates and patches with fresh features and improvements but also plenty of free and premium DLC.

After running an outlandish promotional campaign with even more free goodies for fans, Techland revealed earlier this summer the final expansion for Dying Light, in the form of The Following.

A new video shows some impressive footage from the Dying Light add-on

Now, the studio has shared a special video presentation that focuses on Dying Light's The Following expansion. You can not only hear some details from two of its developers but also check out about 15 minutes of actual gameplay footage.

Lots of things are showcased during the video, available below. These include the Countryside area, which joins the original maps, not to mention the new weapons, the dirt buggies, and the story missions that will play a big role in the add-on.

A free demo is available, complete with co-op support

Those who are still on the fence about Dying Light can now enjoy a free demo of the game across PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The trial includes a few story missions, some secondary activities, challenges, and random encounters.

More importantly, it also packs the game's cooperative mode, which allows up to four players to team up and go against the undead horde.

The demo is out now while The Following expansion is set to arrive in the coming months for Dying Light. Season Pass users get it for free while regular owners will have to pay $15/€15.
