LG has just announced yet another lineup of affordable Android smartphones, the K series. The South Korean company wants to please customers by offering relatively cheap handsets with advanced camera technology.

The first smartphones unveiled in the K Series, a new line of mass-tier smartphones, the K10 and K7, will make their public debut at CES 2016 trade fair.

There's no word on pricing and availability yet, but we suspect more details will be available in the next couple of days.

According to LG, both K series smartphones have been designed with nature in mind, so they should feel premium, even though they are affordably priced.

For example, the back cover features an intricate woven pattern for optimal grip while LG's UX offers unique features like Gesture Shot and Gesture Interval Shot for the camera.

Speaking of which, LG K10 packs a more than decent 13-megapixel on the rear and 8-megapixel on the front. The 3G model comes with a lower 8-megapixel camera on the back and 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Multiple variations will be launched in the coming months

The smartphone sports a 5.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution. It's powered by either a 1.2GHz (1.3GHz) quad-core or 1.14GHz octa-core processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded via microSD card slot.

LG K10 is powered by a 2,300 mAh battery, and it will ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box.

Next in line, LG K7 comes with lower specs, such as a smaller 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that support 854 x 480 pixels resolution and either 1.1GHz or 1.3GHz quad-core CPU.

Also, the K7 features an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, a secondary 5-megapixel camera in the front and 1.5GB or 1GB of RAM.

The smartphone packs 16GB or 8GB of storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot. Last but not least, LG K7 drains energy from a 2,215 mAh battery and comes preloaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop right out of the box.
