14 DAY TRIAL // Great news for Windows Phone fans in India, as BLU Products has just made some of its affordable smartphones available through additional retailers.
After Microsoft announced the immediate availability of Lumia 640 XL LTE in India, BLU Products has brought its Win HD LTE and Win JR LTE smartphones to Amazon.
Both devices are now available for purchase via Amazon India after they had been exclusive to Snapdeal since August.
Customers can grab the BLU Win HD LTE for Rs 7,999 outright, which is about $120 or €110. The Win JR LTE is even cheaper, as customers will be able to get it for just Rs 5,999 ($90 / €80) off-contract.
As their names suggest, both come with 4G LTE and dual-SIM support. However, the Win HD LTE is the better device, hence the slightly higher price.
BLU Win HD LTE sports a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution. The smartphone packs an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash, and full HD (1080p) video recording.
It also features a 2-megapixel selfie camera on the front and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.
They should be upgraded to Windows 10 Mobile at some point
The Win HD LTE is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, which is complemented by 1GB of RAM. It's also worth mentioning the smartphone drains energy from a decent 2,500mAh battery.
Next in line, BLU Win JR LTE comes with a smaller 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 854 pixel resolution. There's also a 5-megapixel camera on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and video recording, as well as a secondary VGA camera on the front.
The handset is equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal memory expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. The Win JR LTE is powered by a 2,000mAh battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.
