Batman: Arkham Knight developer Rocksteady Studios confirms that it will continue to release updates and patches for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game, even if it pledged to allocate its resources towards fixing the PC edition of the title.

Batman: Arkham Knight was eagerly awaited by millions of fans from all around the world and launched last week, on June 23, across PC, PS4, and Xbox One. While the title worked pretty well on the PS4 and Xbox One consoles, the PC version is suffering from a huge amount of performance problems.

Soon after the title launched, publisher Warner Bros. decided to suspend its sale on the PC platform, due to all the problems, and developer Rocksteady to double down on fixing the game as soon as possible so that computer users can actually enjoy it.

Rocksteady will still fix Arkham Knight console problems

Now, in order to ease the worries of PS4 and Xbox One users, Rocksteady boss Sefton Hill mentions that the PC focus doesn't mean that the studio will neglect the console versions of Batman: Arkham Knight.

Hill exemplifies his statement with the fact that a small hot fix update was released over the weekend on the PS4 platform, in order to rectify a leaderboard glitch.

He also mentions that PC users shouldn't worry about the studio multitasking its update plans, as there are multiple teams that specialize in each platform.

"To clarify: PC is top priority for engine team but there'll still be updates for consoles too. Not all issues are fixed by same people," he explains on Twitter.

The first Arkham Knight PC patch launched over the weekend

The first big update for Batman: Arkham Knight on the PC platform also launched over the weekend, bringing a few fixes to critical problems, glitches, and errors. Rocksteady emphasized at that time that it was going to keep working on a series of issues so that Arkham Knight PC users can enjoy their game.
