The upcoming downloadable content packs for Batman: Arkham Knight that are set to launch in September have just been revealed, and they include not just new quests, AR challenges, or skins, but also the Tumbler version of the Batmobile, as seen in The Dark Knight trilogy.

Batman: Arkham Knight launched at the end of June worldwide across PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Unfortunately, performance problems and other issues weighed down the PC edition, ultimately causing it to be suspended from sale by publisher Warner Bros. while updates are being made by developer Rocksteady.

Even so, the studio has kept on releasing fresh downloadable content packs for the game in the last few months, starting with full-fledged prequel expansions, like the Batgirl one, and continuing with many other things. These included new outfits for the main characters, AR challenges, and even a special skin for the Batmobile, in order to make it look like the iconic vehicle seen in the 1989 Batman movies.

Varied DLC, including the Tumbler Batmobile, are coming

Now, in a new statement and in a special video promoting the August downloadable content packs, Warner Bros. and Rocksteady also confirm the new add-ons coming in September to Batman: Arkham Knight.

Among them are traditional add-ons like the Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #1, which arrives on September 1 and brings six AR challenges that can be played by Batman, Nightwing, Robin, or Catwoman.

Later in September, the GCPD Lockdown add-on takes place after the main story and allows players to control Nightwing in order to stop the Penguin from breaking out of the GCPD. There's also the original Arkham Batman skin, bringing back the outfit seen in Batman: Arkham Asylum many years ago.

However, the most intriguing DLC focuses on the Batmobile, as it will receive a special skin that turns it into the famous Tumbler seen in The Dark Knight movie. Two themed tracks are also coming alongside it.

You can get a brief glimpse at the Tumbler in Arkham Knight right at the end of the video below, which promotes the August DLC packs.
