Batman: Arkham Knight may be suffering from plenty of issues on PC but this doesn’t mean that ambitious users aren't making mods for it. One such modification allows players to take control of an array of other characters, from Red Hood to Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Robin, or even the Joker.

Batman: Arkham Knight launched last week, on June 23, for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One users. Unfortunately for PC gamers, their version of the game is suffering from major performance problems across an array of configurations.

While developer Rocksteady is working on updates and patches, fans are asked to lower their visual settings or just wait until more improvements appear.

New mod allows players to take control of new characters

One user, however, has decided to tinker with the game's files and has just produced a mod that lets players take control of an array of other characters besides Batman.

These include characters that have their own story packs, such as Harley Quinn or Red Hood, as well as those that can help the Caped Crusader during the single-player campaign via the Dual Play mechanic, such as Catwoman, Nightwing, or Robin, not to mention Azrael.

However, thanks to some more tinkering, the mod also enables players to take control of other characters, in the form of Commissioner Gordon, GCPD officer Owens, or even the Joker.

As you can see in the video below, some characters work better than others do when it comes to actually playing the game. What's more, they're only available in the Free Roam mode, although some missions can still be completed. Some can glide around Gotham City, like Robin or Azrael.

You can check out the impressive gameplay video below, which highlights the playable characters that are available in the mod, not to mention instructions on how to actually install it for your own PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight.

Bear in mind that some major spoilers are also included during the Robin portion of the footage.
