A lot of fixes have been implemented with this update

Assassin's Creed Syndicate was released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 back in October, so Ubisoft had more than enough time to prepare a big patch for the game.

As you have probably noticed already, only the consoles are mentioned for this patch, and it’s likely that some of the issues fixed and noted here will also make their way to that platform. Until then, the console players can now download and install this latest patch.

It’s interesting to see that despite being a patch for the consoles, which in theory should be much better protected against performance issues, one of the first lines in the changelog mentions improved performance and stability. There weren’t all that many reports of frozen or crashed games for Assassin's Creed Syndicate, but it looks like the problem was serious enough to warrant being mentioned first.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate patch is extensive

There are quite a few fixes, and they are separated into online, audio, NPS, fight, mission, behavior, and so on. Some of them have caught our eye because these are usually pretty obvious problems.

According to the changelog, the rating for the final mission is now awarded, an issue where the Trophy/Achievement descriptions were in English when the user put his system language to "French (Canada)" has been fixed, the lip-sync is now synchronized with cinematics, the subtitles match the audio at all times, some collisions issues for carriages and trains have been fixed, and spawning for vehicles now works better.

Also, the reaction of the NPC allies has been refined, the replay system has been fixed, an unlocking issue with the Train Raids has been corrected, the Time Anomaly icon was increased to have a better visibility on the map, and lots of behavior fixes have been implemented.

The patch is available now and anyone can download it.
